Gyeonggi Province, together with Yangpyeong County, will hold the ‘2026 14th Gyeonggi Garden Culture Expo’ for four days from the 16th to the 19th in the area of Semiwon and Dumulmeori in Yangpyeong County. The theme is ‘Dumulmeori Sa:saek (Contemplation · Four Colors)’.

The feature of this expo is that the gardens are decorated by making the most of the existing natural environment, such as the waterfront scenery of Dumulmeori where the Namhan River and Bukhangang River meet, and the willow tree colonies. Visitors can spend time resting and contemplating amidst a landscape where the river, trees, and gardens harmonize.

The exhibition gardens consist of 5 Designer Gardens created by professional garden designers, 5 Imagination Gardens in which citizens participated directly, and Charming Gardens, etc. Each garden interprets the nature of Dumulmeori and the theme of ‘contemplation’ in different ways. In addition, a Garden Industry Exhibition introducing garden plants and related products, plant-based experiences, and a garden culture academic conference will be prepared.

The opening ceremony will be held at Semiwon on the 17th at 4:30 PM, followed by the ‘Dumulmeori Music Festival’ starting from 5:30 PM, featuring performers such as Kim Feel, Ben, Kai, and Kim Jong-seo. Performances by local artists, outdoor movie screenings, garden commentary, and a stamp-touring trip will also take place.

Gyeonggi Province plans to utilize the gardens created this time as a resting space for residents and a tourism resource even after the event, and to develop Yangpyeong into a hub for garden culture by linking the garden and ecological resources of Semiwon and Dumulmeori.

Detailed schedules can be found on the official website of the Gyeonggi Garden Culture Expo.
