Paju to host 14th Gyeonggi Architecture Culture Festival in October

The event will feature exhibitions of winners from architecture culture awards, the 14th Gyeonggi Children's Architectural Drawing Competition, and various architectural experience programs. This year's theme is "Boundaries of Healing: Ecological Regeneration, Building a Future in Symbiosis with Nature." Nine organizations and institutions, including Gyeonggi Province, Paju City, and the Gyeonggi Architects Association, are co-hosting the event, which is designed as a venue for experts and residents to share the value of architecture together.
At the "Forest of Wisdom" venue, award ceremonies and exhibitions for the 31st Gyeonggi Architecture Culture Awards and the Gyeonggi Public Design Competition will be held. Experience programs, including lectures related to World Heritage and activities such as making architectural models and learning about architectural principles and structures, will also be operated.
The 14th Gyeonggi Children's Architectural Drawing Competition will take place at 11:00 a.m. on the 24th. The theme is "An Imaginary Peaceful Village Created by Removing Barbed Wire," where children can freely express their visions of a peaceful village through drawings.
As the event is set in Paju Book City, where books, architecture, and culture converge, the province plans to promote the architectural culture resources of Paju as well. Some experience programs require pre-registration, while the children's drawing competition allows for on-site registration.
