The Art Edition Art Fair 2026, hosted by the Korean Print and Photography Promotion Association and managed by Art Edition, will take place from the 11th to the 15th.
The Art Edition Art Fair 2026 will run from the 11th to the 15th at Gangdong Arts Center Artrang, featuring a special exhibition of print works by international artists including Damien Hirst and Alex Katz.
A five-day art fair exploring the diversity of prints as well as the artistic possibilities of media such as drawing and painting will be held. The Art Edition Art Fair 2026, hosted by the Korean Print and Photography Promotion Association and managed by Art Edition, is scheduled to run from the 11th to the 15th.
Held across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of Gangdong Arts Center Artrang, this event is themed "Works on Paper," introducing various artistic expressions and worlds of work utilizing paper. The fair focuses on the fact that paper serves as a medium for artists to record the processes of conception and experimentation, while also acting as a material that realizes unique formative qualities through its own texture and color.
During the art fair, a special exhibition featuring print works by major domestic and international artists will be organized. The special exhibition is set to showcase print works by British contemporary artist Damien Hirst, United States artist Alex Katz, Lee Bae, who is known for his original world of work using charcoal, and Chinese artist Luo Zhongli.
The Korean Print and Photography Promotion Association stated that visitors will not only be able to appreciate the works up close but also learn about the production process and factors to consider when collecting through explanations from gallery officials. They added that it will serve as an opportunity for visitors to explore their own tastes and take a step closer to collecting artworks.
Art Edition Art Fair 2026 is open from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (until 4:30 PM on the 15th). The general admission fee is 5,000 won, but visitors can enter without a fee by registering a free invitation on the online invitation registration page. Detailed information regarding the event can be found through the organizer, Art Edition.
