Daelim Museum will host the "DCF Collection: Daelim Cultural Foundation Collection Exhibition" starting on the 30th to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Daelim Cultural Foundation. This exhibition introduces paintings, sculptures, and installation works by domestic and international artists held by the foundation, and it will be operated free of charge so that anyone can view it without burden.

The exhibition features works by artists active from the mid-20th century to the present. Rather than being categorized by production period or genre, the space is organized according to the characteristics and themes of the works.

On the first floor, works by Kim Tschang-yeul, who participated in the opening exhibition of the Hanlim Museum of Art—the predecessor of Daelim Museum—are presented. Along with the paintings of Kim Tschang-yeul, who is well known for his water drop paintings, visitors can view the sculpture "I Pray." In particular, "I Pray" is a work being revealed by the foundation for the first time, allowing for an examination of Kim Tschang-yeul's work that differs from his flat paintings.

The second floor houses works that express objects and landscapes easily encountered in one's surroundings in new ways. Works by domestic and international artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Frank Stella, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, and Tae-wŏn Yi can be met here.

On the third floor, the exhibition continues with a focus on abstract works utilizing dots, lines, colors, and empty space. Works by Lee Ufan, Park Seo-Bo, Ha Chong-Hyun, and Alexander Calder are introduced. Finally, on the fourth floor, art utilizing various media can be explored through the works of Nam June Paik, Keiichi Tanaami, and Doug DuBois.

This exhibition is an opportunity to appreciate the works collected by the Daelim Cultural Foundation over 30 years in one place. Visitors can enjoy the exhibition from their own perspectives by comparing works from different eras and fields.

The exhibition will run until May 30, 2027, and Daelim Museum operates from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
