The sustainable fashion art exhibition platform TASTE OF GREEN, organized by fashion art label TEAMTOG, is being held at Herald Square in Seoul until November 8. In this exhibition, artist Yeom Je-in, born in 2014, participates as the youngest invited artist, presenting works themed around the coexistence of nature, the environment, and humanity.
TASTE OF GREEN is an exhibition that explores the possibilities of sustainable creation by connecting various creative fields such as fashion, fine art, and crafts. Through the works of artists from different generations and creative backgrounds, it introduces diverse perspectives on the environment and the future.
Yeom Je-in's entry, "The Future Nature Dreams Of," is a work imagining a future where cities and nature coexist. Through depictions of trees and flowers growing again amidst ruins and traces of animals returning to parched lands, the piece expresses the resilience of nature and the meaning of life. This work expands the artist's previous interests, which focused on war and peace, toward nature, the environment, and sustainability.
Since childhood, Yeom Je-in has drawn by observing characters and surrounding objects. Having lived in Australia and Japan, she has been exposed to various cultures and arts, and has continued her fine art work while simultaneously working as a model and actress.
War, peace, and hope are the primary themes of Yeom Je-in's work. In December 2024, she submitted works to the SHIZUOKA CHRISTMAS ART FAIR held in Shizuoka, Japan, to convey messages of hope to children suffering from war. In 2025, she participated in ART SEOUL 2025 – Envisioning a New Korean Art held at the Hangaram Art Museum at the Seoul Arts Center, expressing memories of war and peace based on the historical significance of the Hungnam Evacuation.
TEAMTOG explained that they selected Yeom Je-in as an invited artist to introduce the perspective of the younger generation on the environment and the future through their work.
“We wanted to examine through the artwork how a young artist views the environment and the future and expresses it through images and stories,” said Moon Jeong-uk, Art Director of TEAMTOG. “When different generations and modes of expression come together, the meaning of the exhibition can also become more diverse.”
