Shinsegae to host K-lifestyle preview exhibition through November 15

Visitors can experience traditional crafts, fashion, and F&B through markets and classes to help shape future programming.
The exhibition "A Journey Through Taste: K-Lifestyle Platform Preview," which allows visitors to experience traditional culture through everyday contents such as crafts, living, fashion, and F&B, will be held at The Heritage museum on the 4th floor of the Shinsegae Department Store Main Store from November 5 to 15.
This exhibition serves as a preview of the contents for the "K-Lifestyle Platform", which is scheduled to open in 2027. The event is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, organized by KCDF, and supported by Shinsegae.
The exhibition will present contents that connect traditional culture with modern life—including crafts, living, fashion, F&B, and Hanji—through a market, a season stage, and experience classes. Visitors can view space arrangements using Hanji and Christmas season contents, as well as experience various materials and production methods.
A key feature of the exhibition is its design, which goes beyond merely viewing traditional culture products, allowing visitors to directly select and experience contents according to their own tastes. Responses to the viewing, purchasing, and experiences during the exhibition are expected to be reflected in the future planning of the K-Lifestyle Platform's contents and programs.
The K-Lifestyle Platform is being prepared as a platform to introduce related contents and programs so that the new uses and values of traditional culture can be experienced in daily life.
